It’s just a status symbol. It’s artificially priced- You can build a higher quality 80 foot yacht yourself pretty cheaply. If you are creative and smart and white, that is.

Primarily it's a defensible location where they're safer from the outside world. Bunkers, yachts and the larger private aircraft are all richfag survival tools primarily. All can have security and carry considerable provisions. If you read shit like Robb Report you figure this out pretty quickly.
