I watched 3 minutes of the opening. It was jarring and shakycam rehashed trash looking like they used AI to rehash the same old shit. I thought to myself, surely this awful stylistic choice is just for the intro? So I scanned into the middle. Same thing. Whoever made this is on drugs.

It is pretty awful.
You're basically just looking at a computer screen, watching clips, with Ice cubes mush mouth narrating it trying to sound smart.
A few more people like in a zoom meeting. Shitty clips of the aliens.

I'm the kind of person who won't watch a movie or TV show if I suspect it'll feature coalburning. I don't think this movie would be any better if the actors were a different race. Maybe better to look at, but that's it. This is obviously no budget shit made during the COVID lockdowns. I'm astonished as to why it exists since War of the Worlds is public domain, so it's not like the studio needed to shit out a movie every XYZ years or the rights revert. Did someone genuinely think this would turn out well?
