Almost everyone voted for this. Almost nobody pays attention to politics, its literally the biggest reason democracy is a failed system, Brazil (i think) has mandatory voting, which seems kind of silly but its actually not silly if you force people to take a stance on politics instead of the gay version we use in yurop

Voting is fake. Even your "elected" officials are faggots. Voting isnt real, and it will never be real! Democracy is for FAGGOTS.

This guy gets it.

The sooner we abolish democracy the better, we need to be able to seize absolute power. Democracy ensures the people, the state, never has any real power to fix itself.

>Be voter in yurop
>Everyone should have a decent life + we are going to murder your entire family
>Hmm that first part sounds kind of nice im going to vote for that
Vs
>A page with 5 different things people have to take a stance on
>What am i, a politician? This isnt my job im just going to check the first box i come across because i have to go home right now to browse social media and watch television

This is very much literally how indirect democracy works, and its very much exactly how people vote. Its also exactly what most people want because it takes having to think about anything at all ever out of the equation and people dont want to have to actually do something or think about something unless forced to do so under punishment of economic ruin or death.

i can guarantee you that +90% of voters in Denmark spend less than one hour pr election period actually reading what the different politicians want. 9 out of 10 just vote for the same shit they always voted for because its convenient and nobody will make fun of them. If you ask someone about the actual politics, they will say they dont know. People who actually care, and spend time learning about what the different political parties want are basicly labeled either some kind of extremist tinfoil hatter or made fun off for spending time on something most people consider a waste of time

Its not just that. Democracy will never work. Its a totally unfeasible system. What youre looking at isnt the result of votes, its the result of the people who count them. Its a system predicated on a trust that is completely undeserved and unrealistic.

Well, they can pass it as much as they want.

Problem is that today there will always be someone from somewhere that will make an app or software or whatever, that will bypass this.
All these regulations make no sense today since its impossible to contain something like this. You can basically create a company in some country nobody has ever heard of that again is owned by some other company some place that nobody has ever heard of, in some other country owned by another company bla bla, that has an address in antarctica whatever where no regulations even exist.

So I say just regulate and keep on doing so if they dont have anything better to do and see what will happen. Its just a waste of time and money. And with AI coming at us with a blast, in 5-10 years from now everything will make today look like prehistoric.

The go to the eu because they have to, this issue has to be nobody or everybody.

As long as everyone suffers, we are at equilibrium and the universe is in perfect order. When you(we) do politics on a national level our neighbouring countries who might do things differently will instantly pick up on this which causes turmoil. If everyone suffers, nobody can point at a neighbouring country and say thats what they want, when everyone suffers, its easier for everyone to just say "yes but everyone suffers and thats natural order". It completely removes competition between countries.

The primary determining factor when it comes to competition between countries is basicly tax laws, and nobody gives a shit unless they were wealthy enough to have a financial incentive to move (to Switzerland or Luxembourg) in which case it doesnt matter because they are rich enough to move around between countries at little expense compared to their financial situation

These. People will always say "next time I'll vote for the other guy", but "the other guy" always ends up doing the same thing. Anyone with a brain can figure out that democracy is not about the will of the people but about obfuscating the decision-making process so that the ACTUAL decision makers are never revealed, never face consequence, and can therefore never be counteracted.

An absolute monarch or autocrat can be mobbed and killed. How do you remove a force that you can't even pin down?

Yeah. I just dont get it tho. We have so much other things that need to be taken care of to make sure crime decreases, that people can afford living etc. Those are things that matter and make sense. But all these regulations that so easily will be bypassed is what they focus on.

>Who voted for this?
Economists decades ago asked the question "if the public elects politicians, why do politicians keep doing things that harm the public?"
The answer they came up with was: public choice theory (politicians, like all other individuals, work for their own best interest, not in the interest of the public), and rational ignorance (the cost to voters of becoming informed about every single way the politicians are screwing them, is too high to bother doing it, so they only vote on a few key issues and let the politicians screw them in all the other issues).

Nobody and I mean it. That's basically how western "democracy" works.
The public isn't voting on policies.
They're voting on faces and labels.
Once the guy you like is in office, he can do whatever he wants. That usually boils down to do what the most powerful/rich lobby group asks you to do.
