I am ONCE AGAIN asking /pol/ to explain to me, a non american why the confederates were "bad" or any worse than the founding fathers of america?

Why is it like this? I still haven't received a coherent explanation as to why slave owning aristocrats fighting against their mother country is good in one scenario but bad in another

the american whigs fought against their government because they weren't allowed to genocide red indians and because catholics in quebec were given equal rights. The primary reason slavery was outlawed in the North was because laborers did not want to compete with slaves for labor. If factories could just buy slaves, why would they bother paying anyone a livable wage? The South was nowhere near as industrialized as the North, as their primary industry was farming, rather than mineral refinery, manufacturing, etc. The South also wanted to expand slavery into new territories, and the North realized that slavery had a shelf life.

Wealthy slaveowners and plantation owners were a small minority of southerner. Poor white farmers were not much better off than slaves. Plantation owners were basically Jews/Jew-like in their dealings.

It was a power struggle between two groups of wealthy and powerful people who were tied to their regions and so when the North won they made sure to impoverish the South to destroy the growing power.

What you need to understand is that the USA before the civil war was much like the European Union where these states were basically their own countries with a little federal oversight to keep certain things in line mostly on international agreements.
After the Civil war is where you get the US where it is now and the states are mainly just differences in local tax rates and ordinances.

The shift in language...before the civil war it was "These United States" after the civil war it is now "The United States".
