I think the older gens fell for the pull yourself up by the bootstrap meme the elites pushed on us. I have millionaires in the family but outside helping their direct children they don't give a fuck. I had to pay for my mother's fumeral even though I grew up in care and my grandmother is a millionaire. She was barely even a mother to much and I didn't even see her that often after the age of 12. It's funny how poor people who have come into money tell their kids they have to do it alone why rich people who have money are setting their kids up with buinsess and contacts to last a lifetime.
