We are in the middle of a crisis. A crisis not just of climate and environment but of justice and power. Every year we hold more conferences. Every year we make more promises. But the emissions keep rising. The forests keep burning. The oceans keep heating. The poor keep suffering. The rich keep getting richer.

It depends on a small group owning everything while the rest work to survive. And that system is called capitalism.
Capitalism is the reason we have billionaires while children starve. It is the reason corporations can pollute rivers and call it profit. It is the reason fossil fuels are subsidized while renewable energy is ignored. It is the reason workers have no power while CEOs have private jets. This is not a mistake. It is by design.
We need a new system. A system based on equality. A system based on solidarity. A system where the planet comes before profit. A system where the people who grow the food and build the houses and teach the children have control over their lives. That system is communism.
Communism means shared resources. It means healthcare and education for all. It means democratic control of production. It means no more billionaires. It means no more poverty. It means putting people and the planet before the bank accounts of the few.
Some people will say this is too extreme. That it is unrealistic. But what is truly extreme is letting millions die for the sake of oil. What is unrealistic is believing we can stop climate change while protecting the wealth of the powerful. Real change is never easy. But it is necessary.
