I have been enjoying the trump episodes as much as I liked the pc principle ones, its a decent show for how long its been out. They're not failing because the MAGA people are saying they're not bothered by the mockery, they're failing because they're not achieving what they're setting out to do.

Both south park episodes took care not to attack the people who support MAGA, like the voters, and are attacking the people in MAGA, Trump, the government people, and the satellite grifters like Kirk. In both episodes, there were moments where the voters lament that they don't believe in this stuff and didn't want it to go this far (the bar scene in episode 1 and the scene between clyde and mackie at the end of episode 2)

The problem with these episodes is they're not addressing the reasons why those people they're giving an out to chose to side with MAGA in the first place, and as such they're just coming off as patronizing, only in a less antagonistic way than the left who does the same thing with the "you were duped!" rhetoric.
