Some of the younger anons won't remember, but George "Mission Accomplished and No Child Left Behind" W. Bush's approval among Republicans stayed around 90 percent until after the 2006 midterms.
Then his approval collapsed overnight, the Republican party as a whole simply pretended there was no one in the White House until January 2009, and by 2012 you couldn't find anyone who would admit to having ever supported him.
The same will happen with Trump. Expect his approval among Republicans to stay almost unanimous even if video of him spitroasting a 14 year old with Epstein gets released.
Right up until the midterms. Then expect the Republican presidential primary season to start within days. There will be a massive push to move on to the "next generation of MAGA", i.e. do whatever they can to distance themselves from him.
