Jesus Christ is God who came to earth from heaven in the flesh. He died as a sinless sacrifice for the sins of the whole world to save you from eternal hell, the punishment for your sin. He was buried, then resurrected and is now in heaven. Do you regret your horrible sinful state? Put your faith in the blood atonement of Jesus Christ which is sufficient to wash your soul from all sin eternally no matter how miserable you are. Let go of the faith you have in your own effort in trying to please God. "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." (John 10:28) God wants to forgive you, but you have a choice. Your works (like trying to not sin, loving deeds, praying etc.) can NEVER justify you, nothing you do can remove sin. You're corrupt and need to be saved. “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” (Romans 5:9). Only by trusting in Jesus Christ, in what HE did for you, you can get saved eternally right now. Salvation is a gift, it's not a reward. God has given you time to repent of your sinfulness and self-righteousness. Do you choose mercy or wrath? Your soul is eternal.
