Doesn't the internet make formal education obsolete since you can teach yourself anything at anytime without paying for any of it?

>bro I spent 4 years and paid $100,000 to listen to lectures in a room and read textbooks
cool I can do that for free in my spare time without spending any money.

Yeah but you don't get a piece of paper or hired.
College is about making connections anon.

It sure does. Education isn’t about learning anymore. It’s a debt treadmill, a compliance filter, and a time sink all at the same time. You don’t get to have the nice jobs unless you play the jew games and take on debt, but simply taking on debt isn’t enough, you also have to pass social engineering classes such as humanities and the jew version of history in order to get a degree, you can’t only focus on your field of study, that only gets you a certificate and nobody accepts that when screening candidates for employment.

>College is about making connections anon.

Yes but only if you have enough will power to keep on studying regularly without the pressure from teachers and other students company.

>a piece of paper
can be acquired in the night school for a fraction of the college cost
>making connections
nobody cares about it, most people forget their work/school/college buddies as soon as they walk out of the door

AI is making that obsolete too because now you can have a computer generate the coursework for you, and it may not do it well but it does it well enough to pass the course and get you that piece of paper without you having to waste any time or effort.

You know.. there are lots of fields to get educated on. Learning, gaining knowledge.. goes far beyond just what is written and we know.

You can create a concept. Create a new concept. Then knowing those, you can create a new, formally completely hidden unknown concept.

Theres much more to the psych and conciousness. Don't take everything for face value. You can look beyond. It will look back.

You have to look beyond the borders of whats known. Not seek within well established foundations of all you know .

Try to move into a more, hidden layer of being concious. See where it goes where it takes you

Yes, as long as you have the discipline (which most won't have). If you do though, you'd mostly be okay, but some fields will be gatekept because you dont have formal credentials even if you kmow your shit sadly.

In the West people are no longer entitled to their own opinion.

Absolutely you can. Proving your proficiency is an issue. The gatekeepers of education from kindergarten to PhD give you a piece of paper saying yep anon followed the curriculum successfully. There should be a streamlined tech format to test your capabilities outside of brick and mortar costing so money.
APA MLA citation. You can also teach yourself that but most formats do it for you now. One subject matter, consult information of varying sources on the information, outline the premise, cite within the source you gleaned the information from and create a reference page and that's supposed to be critical thinking path. It's mainly so if you make it to PhD you can get published and cite the work of others, like a YouTube collab but academic. A shout out essentially.
One thing about today's writings from students is it is mostly online sources. Why a physical library is so important because you can actually look up subject matter, go to the index specify exactly what page make notes turn it into your own words (cite author) because it's not your original idea or thought it's the authors so you give credit, then your paper isn't full of https... it's McGraw Hill pg 78. Much more rounded. If you started doing exact APA by middle school they would send you straight to college. Because that's the entire premise of college, writing like this taking electives advancing math subjects. That's it. Here's your piece of paper so you can go out into the world and earn pieces of paper to buy yourself stuff.
