This happens in Germany

Trash pickup is very stingy, you get max 1-2 bins of non recyclable trash a month regardless of family size.

Lately the state has hiked all municipal taxes and fees, including garbage, to cover the money they blew on the Ukraine. Poors can't afford to take out the trash and leave it on rivers and vacant lots.

Garbage collection is actually a pretty good indicator of a nation's overall health.
If everything is working optimally then all the people pay some taxes so that the government is able to pick up the garbage and streets stay clean. Simple stuff.

But if shit starts going sour a number of things can happen
>government officials become corrupt, use garbage collection money to fund personal extravagances or vanity projects instead
>citizens become too poor to pay enough tax money to keep the system running smoothly
>garbage men stop feeling dutiful towards their nation and start demanding more money for their work
>citizens become degenerate and no longer care about the overall state of their nation so they start littering

A nation full of garbage is a failed nation.
If you look on Google Street View and there's garbage lying on every street, it's a bad country to live in, and usually everyone is to blame, from the bottom to the top.
A healthy nation filled with healthy people is characterized by order, cleanliness and a sense of safety. Pic related is what every nation should strive towards.

There should be a national policy to reduce the volume of packaging or make it biodegradable. A wilderness area nearby was full of homeless for a while and after a wild fire swept through there were still bottles and cans everywhere even if a lot of other random garbage burned.

I was born and raised rural, but I hate the attitudes of my neighbors that are poisoning our land. Everyone still burns garbage, even though now it's all plastic and styrofoam, they spray crops, lawn, and livestock with jew chemicals, and treat fence posts with used motor oil. The concept of accumulation is completely foreign to these morons. They think that because it's what their grandaddy did it's what they can continue to do. I'm not even some hippy, I just love the land and feel a responsibility to take care of it.

we also dump them to forests or water cannals/anti fire trenches nature will take care of it probably
for example i throw car batteries to sea and when i come back next day they are gone
this means these batteries must be needed by nature for something
