My conspiracy theory is that all the fires in NA these past years have been the acts of Russian assets. It would be so easy for them to wander off into the woods somewhere, start a fire, then dip out, never to be seen again, all while causing unprecedented damage (look at the LA fires). How could we even fight something like that? Armed patrols on every wooded area in the nation?

Here where I live, around half of territory is covered in forests. Even on our city limits, there are several.
One day when walking trough nearby forest to lake (went for a swim) stumbled on tiny forest fire (around like 20 square meters). Started to try to put it out. Called for firefigters. Some passerby helped too.
And there was signs, that it was created intentionally. In form of small bonfire, which was created at side of path. It was one of our retards, which did it with aim to create forest fire.

That suspicions that there might be people, who do it intentionally, that suspicion is warranted. As there are such people.
