>>512500444>Do we have human like artificial intelligence? No The top tier LLMs like ChatGPT have been able to pass rigorous versions of the Turing Test for several years now. They are more or less indistinguishable from an actual human in the chat, other than being far more capable than humans in some ways.
You need to keep in mind that the baseline for human-like intelligence isn't some hypothetical super genius human who knows everything and never makes even a tiny mistake. The spectrum of human intelligence includes all of those people who can't imagine not eating breakfast or don't have an inner voice and can't visualize an apple.
>probably won't have AGI in out lifetimes. Please precisely define what you mean by "AGI"
>Our brains are much powerful than a computer. Human brains are different from a computer, which makes it very difficult to compare them in terms like "power." Scientists can look at how many neurons are in a brain, and extrapolate to estimate that a human brain is capable of performing some huge number of Teraflops, more than the most powerful supercomputer.
But brains are constantly doing a LOT of different things at once, and the vast majority of that "computing power" is being used to manage things like biological functions, balance, body temperature, physical movement, dealing with the constant influx of data from the various senses, etc. Only a relatively small part of brain's computing power is being used for doing things that are similar to what LLMs like ChatGPT does.
>We can instantly recognize objects, know at to do and act all at the same time.Computers can easily do all of that and have been able to for a long time. Even something as basic as a Roomba robot vaccuum is capable of instantly recognizing objects, know how to react to them and act at the same time.
> A computer struggles to recognize an image and needs all the power.Did you just step out of a time machine from the 1960s?
