Everything is even more expensive here. A LTO whopper meal with a small fries and small drink is $17.99

no, but it has nothing to do with fast food. this used to be a low-end product in cost terms but after 2020 it migrated upwards due to things too complicated for you to understand. as such the consumption patterns of it have also changed.

fastfood price jump has been nuts. i used to buy dollar burgers to hold me over for an hour or three but now injust keep trailmix and granola in my truck
typical taqueria burritos have jumped from $7 to $13 and experienced noticeable shrinkflation

When I was a kid in the 90s I remember the Madonnaโ€™s burger prices being like 50 cents

Don't worry, when all the illegals are deported prices will surely go down.

No, but we're still doing better then the rest of the world. Americans are the frogs of human socioeconomics; we're the first affected by poisons in the ecosystem. Heed our deaths, because once we're gone you can't reverse the damage.

Yes. This is good. McDonalds is an ok meal every once in a while but what they're doing is making it unaffordable. This is good. There was a time when you could get two double cheese burgers and a small fry for $3... that seems good but in the long term it is bad.

People should be conditioned to pull into that drive thru, look at the prices and say 'are you fucking kidding me?' because their prices are insane.
They are doing us a favor. To the 'just use the app fag' people... no. fuck you. I'm not giving you access to everything about me so I can save $4 on $2 worth of food.
