Why isn't Poland more popular as a tourist destination? It's pretty unique as far as nations go and also its history of greatness and super-human feats of perseverance against impossible odds feels like it should be more popular, but somehow isn't, it's almost like Poland is even specifically viewed as "boring" and "uncool" even though it's a fucking unicorn as far as countries go

Like, Wes Anderson made that movie Grand Budapest Hotel. How do we create a magical artistic vibe around Poland like that?
We can simultaneously achieve Whiteness & /pol/ ideology to be mainstream & cool if we achieve making Poland popular as a tourist hotspot, as the next big thing, the cool destination, so fucking IN.

I went to Poland last year. Whenever a pole found out I was English they'd say "you like Greggs? Sausage roll? HAHAHA" and laugh their balls off. I liked the markets though.

Its village country, everything in it reeks provinciality and peasant culture.

Right now the facades are cleaner and better, but the core remains. Aside some German architecture and ex soviet heritage, Poland has nothing unique to offer - just worse emulation of neibouring countries.

I was there last year for the Christmas market. Food was amazing, but too expensive. That underground tour was cool though, and Krakow in general was top tier, much better than London.
I think its because people don't consider Poland as a tourism destination because they just don't know about it. Its about 35 years removed from the iron curtain and too an American who has never been there it may seem like just another dusty soviet shit hole. Poland has come a very long way from that and was simply beautiful, but people don't know that. Maybe you all need to invest in advertising if you want to boost tourism.
