There's a fast food chain bigger in china thats bigger than kfc and maccas that has outlets everywhere. All they serve is just bowls of rice with only boiled chicken feet. because its half the price of a burger. no other part of the chicken is used. it's 100% disgusting but chinks line up for the shit

I was a policy advisor for the Chengdu Local Government for almost 4 years there. It was great with the freemarket structure but after 2018 they just started revisiting socialist policies. This is it it’s peak unfortunately; low to no taxes, the trains and metros were administered by private shareholders on the boards until the state got greedy, life was really good. I had 3 motorbikes in the garage , and was driving my ex’s Tesla Model X back in 2016. If you think it was cheap now man it was super fucking cheap back then , a brand new Audi [top of the line with real leather seats, thermal camera package, stainless steel body none of that EU aluminium bullshit] was £18,000. Locals were only making about £800-2,000 a month though unless you were a small business owner then you’d expect anywhere from £10,000-50,000 a month, I was on £7K a month. Police were relaxed as hell, car insurance was give or take £10 a month, if you didn’t have an EV car you could only drive 6 days in the week unless for special circumstances or emergencies, clubs were lit, women were curvy, super nice asses some with mega large breasts and fit bodies, as a foreigner it was easy to mog all the locals without even trying, a year membership for gym was £90, married and single women would fuck easily, metro was also cheap at £0.20, imported Australian Beef steak, Swiss Cheese, French Bread at Carrefour (I think they closed there now same as the big metros) every corner had super large parks owned by the private buildings, mega nature reserves, camping sites near the mountains, just low tax, no welfare, no VAT on food and clothing. Easy to run a business. Now I’m afraid it’s just going to stagnate like socialist shithole UK. The government in China of course towed the Commie rhetoric to keep the old population happy as they were the most vocal and actionable people, around half of the congress seats were held by different party representatives or independents.

This is bullshit. In a city the cheapest you'll get rent for is closer to $200, but that is literally a box not even big enough to lay down in.

As for other bills, China aint that cheap. A single person might get away on $100 a month on groceries, if they're willing to skimp. For utilities it's somewhere around $70-100 a month minimum, not including a phone contract which is basically required to live in China due to it's cashless society, that aint much but depending on use it's another $20-50 a month.

A Chinese person living in a city might scrape by on about $400 a month. But that is the very, very lowest type of living imaginable. You live in a 4ft box and eat nothing but rice. You own nothing and do nothing.

Also, 90% of Chinese people still make less than $150 a month.

I lived in China for 9 years. Every time I returned to the US it felt the same as ever before at best, slow decay would be more like it. China has a homogenous society with no jewish judges to let pedos, rapists, murderers, and thieves back on the street with a slap on the wrist. It's way better in many ways, for sure. I don't like Chinese food though. Only thing is you're looking at it from a foreigner perspective, esp.:

I was referencing his France List, and that the wages are shit there. Wages are also shit for most Chinese. Like, really bad actually. They're lucky to be able to eat McDs or anything else. Many young Chinese live with their parents if they can. I have no idea how they ever afford a car based off of the average salary. Many get insane loans for any "excess comforts" like cars. Others take on uber or delivery driver jobs to supplement income. My friend lost his house just trying to get his sister (biologically his cousin) into a mental health facility because he placed it as a lien for a loan. Shits properly fucked for normal Chinese.
