this entire society is against me. every time an opportunity comes that can elevates me to higher level of wealth and prominence, a weird combination of assaults both mentally and physically get rained down on me from members of every class, rich and poor alike, to stop me from obtaining that opportunity. its like they are all working as one life-form to try and stop me from controlling them.

The modern world is evil, so the people who worship it will try to bring down anyone challenging the norm. You want a good job?! You want a happy life?! They will screech at you and call you mad, while planting landmines under your feet. These people are your enemy, mostly everyone who worships modernity. Find allies, friends, relatives, who wish for your prosperity and will support you no matter what.
