I look functionally the same as a Japanese to you, I have similar cultural roots due to our shared yellow river ancestry, we even use the same language system (hanzi vs kanji).

I have nothing against China or Korea. Both countries have had a big influence on Japanese culture and I've really enjoyed some anime with Chinese and Korean settings (Fushigi Yuugi and Akatsuki no Yona, respectively).
