This is a part of a larger geopolitical deal. The United States is increasing its influence in the Central Asia, South Caucasus, Turkey region.

There are reports that the corridor will be named "Trump’s Roadmap for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP).

Note that during negotiations about Zangezur corridor, Russia has launched a strike on Ukrainian Orlivka gas compression station, through which Azerbaijan gas supplies began recently. Combat medic of the 3rd Assault Brigade, Maryna Hrytsenko, was killed by a Russian drone while carrying out a combat mission.

Maryna was 39 years old. She had worked for many years as the chief custodian of museum collections. After the start of the full-scale invasion, Maryna lived in the museum with her daughter to protect the exhibits from Russian looters.
