Imagine it like Tinder:
currently the companies are the females, they get 1000s of likes (applications) and therefore are extremely bitchy and have ridiculous standards, because, just like women, they want the perfect combination of the best traits of all their candidates combined in a single individual.
Thats how you get companies demanding a 20yo having a Masters degree and 20 years of work experience for an entry level role.
Its literally just the corporate equivalent of
>I'm looking for a man in finance. Trust fund. 6' 5. Blue eyes.
Now Tariffs done right turn that game around 180 degree.
Now workers are the "females on tinder", they are the ones that get to pick and choose between jobs, they literally get spammed with job offers in which the companies have to compete for the workforce of that worker by ever increasing benefits, more pay, more healthcare benefits, more PTO, etc.
THAT is the job market dynamic you eventually want to achieve in a healthy economy.
And that isn't fucking utopia.
Not as exaggerated as described here, but where TF do you think the boomer mindset of the "firm handshake" came from?
Its because back then that WAS all you needed to get a semi-good paying middle class job.
