Humans are worse than a parasitic virus found in Nature.
Imagine all the garbage you've ever thrown out in your lifetime so far. All that plastic is somewhere out there.

The freezie pop wrapper you threw out in the late 90's? It's somewhere out there.

reminder that these people are so nasty they've created a new bacteria that eats plastic

They like being that way, why bother?
Only a non-racist retard would expect all humans to behave the same way.

You mean plastic manufacturing

If plastic did not exist, 98% of that trash pile wouldn’t exist

i know exactly where all my garbage went, there`s no mystery. it`s not "somewhere out there" it`s carefully contained within a municipal dump. each dump lasts about 30-50 years then its filled in, monitored for emissions and to make sure there`s no leakage, and then the land repurposed and we make a new dump.

its a better system then just throwing it randomly on the ground

Why do you allow this? This isnt like a murder in a dark alley, you have criminals doing this in the open

for about 60-70% of the trash its an option and can be burned for energy with minimal (but some) harmful emissions. some communities in ontario have such facilities but not all. can`t speak to the rest of the world no idea what they`re doing. you have to be very careful about burning it though, strictly regulate emissions in controlled facilities with special equipment. you cant just light it on fire in an open field.

normies act so offended when I reused a water bottle
>bro just get a new one
I tried the reduce/reuse thing but its just useless if no one else cares. I'm not even a greenie and don't believe in global warming caused by humans but I still don't think using the limited resource of plastic to make 1 time usable items. People try to blame corporations but it really is the mass of individuals that are causing this.
I do actually cut out those flat fairly thick bits of plastic use in stuff like blister packs, it does come in useful for various things, just a little box so not much space.
Before plastic was around the alternative was mostly leather and people gave more thought to resource usage.

those disposable bottles are not designed to be reused and it actually matters because they don`t use plastics that are stable for long term reuse. you are actually increasing your risk of cancer by a fair bit, you should stop. just get a water bottle with the right plastics designed to last.
