I understood it and I rejected it. pagans didn't believe a human is born in sin. I don't believe in that either. no newborn infant is sinful. because it's a newborn infant without authority. it can't even hold it's own head. it can't even think for itself. it can't commit sin. it's just a baby.

I don't and wont do anything. the Judeo-Christian religion, scripture, and God is thoroughly anti-human. I think humanity will leave this vile God and religion behind. with the exception of low IQ races like niggers. But whites are going to leave it behind. It's a jew God for jews. Gentlemen, I have come this morning to the inexcusable conclusion that the Judeo-Christian religion and scripture are nothing short of a mind virus. i can type out a couple quick lines about this really important question that wont even scratch the surface and thereby probably makes things worse, or i can suggest that you take some time to read what much smarter believers have said about this over the centuries. im not trying to dismiss your question because its a serious one....which is why i dont think a quick reply, or really anything i can come up with in a couple minutes, is worth posting.

There are so many good things to read on this question, ancient, merely old, and brand new. My first thought would to take a look at the sermons of Charles Spurgeon, an english preacher from the 19thc. But its something that most any writer has looked at before.

i hope you find the writer who has talked about it in the way that you're looking for anon. from my experience its something that most every believer will think about from time to time, but when its contrasted with the kind of faith that comes from the Holy Spirit it doesn't cause them to reject Christ, because they know Him and trust Him. It can still be hard though and no doubt about it.

yeah but come, what does it mean by that? they are either demons or made up 'gods' in peoples minds (idols). thats pretty much the two options and i agree with it.

Another point of view would be that God brought them to destroy it as a punishment to His people (He has done this several times before) and that, really, any more sacrifices for sin would be a really really blasmpehmous thing to do since Christ was the actual sacrifice. there aren't any others.

and even they admit that the bible acknowledges other deities. Origen knew pagan gods had power and he acknowledged their existence as part of "the world’s spiritual framework". But what the church fathers thought was even less important than what the biblical authors thought. and biblical authors bring the "Divine Council" and "Other Gods" multiple times throughout the books in the bible. other gods exist according to scripture. and I simply choose to not worship the anti-human jew god. YHWH can stay in his desert. he shouldn't be welcomed by the rest of humanity. that's a subversion of who we are.

and on a side note, say a newborn infant was just born, lived a second. and then died. what was it's sin? that his ancestor took a bite from a fruit?

yeah, of course. thats the demons i mentioned. fallen angels, the devil, the ruler of the power of the air, the forces of darkness, and so on. but when you use the word 'deity' the best way to think of it is as them being little 'g' gods. There is only one big "G' God, and He is not comparable to them in any sense whatsoever.

i dont know, but thats not the point. see, you're still fixated on the idea that the infant would have do something in order to be considered sinful. thats not how it works. the infant is a fallen creature, not a child of God, sold under sin etc. the question of what happens to the soul in the case you mention is a subject of much discussion because its not really explained to us in the Bible. some believe that God grants them repentance and faith in the short time they are alive and therefore saves them. others think that no, thats probably not the case and that their early death is Gods judgement upon them. I think its both depending, and we dont really know any persons standing with God until the judgement.
