One awful company after another

If Indians are so smart why do they live in a country that has mountains of garbage? Why is 80% of their country deeply impoverished? There are bodies floating in the water along with tons of plastic. Why is India a giant garbage dump? Why do they shit all over the streets on a constant basis? Why is the country so polluted and stinky and disgusting? These are valid questions. I would appreciate it if an intelligent Indian CEO could answer them for me.
