In the context of everything in reality being sentient as a whole organism, there is no defining line between what is real and what is dream. All experience that we have is in the brain. It is reasonable that all experience that reality has is in its own "brain" as well. Essentially, everything is a dream. Us included. Our dreams just part of that dream. No less real than anything else reality dreams.

Yeah I think that's the right course of thought on the whole issue. I'm inclined to believe what we believe is in a sense real. We can collapse wave functions by simply observing them. There is much more to our understanding of reality than meets the eye, and it seems to have a lot to do with simply regarding an engaging with existence around us.

i've always wondered why sin worship went out of fashion. if you worship the sun, no one cam tell you your god isn't real, it's right there. the sun also provides obvious boons to us constantly and had a clear role in the creation of the planets. the idea that the sun has some sort of conciousness and exerts some kind of influence over us sounds far more plausible to me than the idea that good is basicly a humam being and invented mosquitos.
