That's literally not how it works. There's an interview, a polygraph test (which often fails those being truthful, hilariously enough), and then a series of INCREDIBLY difficult physical fitness tests. The vast majority of applicants can't even finish the running portion to a satisfactory degree. After that you have actual training to attend that's essentially a shorter form of police academy. After all that you're an actual agent, you lying, disingenuous fuck.

I failed out of capital police because of this, passed everything else easily but my running endurance is complete shit, not even a fat ass, was lifting close to 1/2/3/4 at the time. Tempted to join ice for that bonus but fuck getting my endurance up as 37 yr old boomer.
