I remember when 4 german soldiers died in Afghanistan. It was in the news for atleast a week (pre mass internet). People were debating if Afghanistan was worth it.

It’s almost like the casualty claims made by Ukrainians and their jew handlers are bullshit. The only actual organisation counting actual confirmed deaths from obituaries, funeral data, social media confirmations seemed to have a much lower count or atleast they did until late 2024 when they stopped actually counting from real data and started “estimating” because I guess the UK government funding them was disappointed with the numbers.

As for the public reaction. Germans dying in Afghanistan was a complete waste in a completely pointless war for their occupiers that had zero chance of success so obviously people were unhappy with losses. Russia is fighting an existential war against a US proxy that is abusing and threatening their people. Every bit of land captured will be Russian and will not be exploited by nato and Russians will benefit from the conquest in the end unlike Germans with the Afghanistan war which just resulted in a bunch of scummy afghans moving to Germany.

Russia isn't able to actually damage Ukrainian industrial facilities (or any of the nations supplying them).

It was the same in WW 2 and 1, they endured hell in battle but had very little effect on the Germans ability to manufacture and provision troops. Which in both cases mattered more.

400,000 Russians died trying to take this literal-who town that Ukraine doesn't actually need. Only another thousand towns to go!

The population ratio between Ukraine and Russia isn't huge, so if this was true, Russia would have the same mobilization Ukraine has and you'd see street vanning.

The Eastern Front was decided in February 1943, when the German 6th and 4th were annihilated in Stalingrad. There was no longer a way for Germany to survive after that. D-Day happened in June '44. When you watch Band of Brothers or that Tom Hanks schlop, keep in mind that America was fighting against literal boyscouts and wounded vets from the eastern front using dated and spare equipment. Less than 10% of German strength was even deployed on the Western front.

The command thought that if they don't win in 3-4 weeks they're gonna lose the war and after that period has passed even though on paper they were doing well they knew it was fucked.
Germans could not supply units properly around 150km from the initial border by command calculations, because of lack of motorized equipment and proper railways, before Barbarossa they confiscated a lot of civillian transport so they had hundreds of types of them.

Looking at the map it seems like a stalemate. The armies in the South can easily find themselves in a Motti. After being cut off from their support units, it's only a matter of time before they run out of ammo and water. With all the drone and satellite surveillance it's impossible to move large quantities of soldiers without the enemy knowing about it. A decent Motti can be achieved with small mobile units.

I was Mil Summ and they say the Ukes published a video of them capturing Russies in the North og the city. Russ strategy seems to be to divide the center with the Sabotage groups of several men. Also they did a sucessful moto attack. Russ tactics are working.
