This is just pedigree collapse, you could see it with anyone. Basically
>If you go back far enough, you're related to everyone
To see why this has to happen, consider yourself, you have 2 parents, they both have 2 parents (so you have 2 + 4 ascendents up to your grandparents). Now, let's label you as generation 0, your parents generation 1 and grandparents generation 2. Further more let's define a generation to be the average time until someone produces offspring (well say 20 years here) then if you go back 100 years (or 5 generations) then you'll have
2 + 2^2 + 2^3 + 2^4 + 2^5 = 58 direct ancestors, now if you assume the each one of those has 2 siblings, then this number starts to explode. Alternatively, just focusing on direct ancestors, we can go back 1000 years or 50 generations we get a number on the order of 10^15, so a thousand trillion. More people that have ever existed. So, at some point, your family tree must collapse and you're sharing ancestors with other people.
