i think the jesuits probably have something to do with it, personally. the extraterrestrial/extradimensional entity which eventually is revealed to have something to do with all these stories (likely personified as something like sophia, gaia, mother nature, isis, diana, etc) will become the basis for a luciferean world religion with its basis in perennialism/the perennial philosophy
