why does the left currently dominate the debate on consumer protection? I'm a right-winger and I agree with most of Louis' takes

Consumer protection is not inherently leftist, if you assume it is, you may have been huffing corporate propaganda.

He is overly focused on having the state attack companies rather than just removing barriers to entry and removing intellectual property laws.

>Consumer protection
You mean the same people who said "if you don't like a game don't buy it" and then proceeded to get mad a company that was going to shut down a game they were loyal to shut down anyways cause it wasn't making profit.

Yeah you're right they totally are for consumer protection. It's why they are fat, lard asses. They consume so much and they hate for that to be stopped.

Isn't Trump the one who said he wants to keep all the illegals in the US who work in the farm and hotel industries? Isn't Trump the one who's expanding H1B visas?
The end result he wants is the same result he wants from deregulation, it's to keep American wages down and increase corporate profits.

Point is he wants to lower the wage floor by bringing in foreigners who work for cheaper than Americans.
And then for those same Americans whose jobs he replaced, he's taking away their social safety nets and healthcare.

That the CEO is Jewish isn't the point. It's that you prefer to submit to a billionaire psychopath with no checks on him than to a government that you elect.

I didn't watch the video, but I've thought about this too. Consumer protections are extremely important for us to live in a nice society. Obviously, sometimes we go overboard, as with the EU cookie warning shit, but mostly it's good.

People are unable to fix their farm equipment without having to hail their tractors 100 miles to get it fixed for an absorbent fee. It really isn't perfect at all, farmworkers should be able to fix their own stuff

This is why people think mooslems are cucks. Mooslems believe jews are all powerful because they can't stop giving their money to them. They quite literally NEED a government that tells them what to do or how to think. Lest they fall into the temptation of the jew.

What you are describing is the opposite of consumer protection. Tractor companies want the repair fees.
