You can't use EBT to buy anything that's hot or intended to be eaten in the place it was purchased. This is why you can buy cold deli subs from Publix, but if they toast the sub it's no longer valid. As far as I can tell, the new rules just rule out garbage like bottled soda and donuts/cakes. You've never been able to use EBT at McDonalds or any other restaurant.

Christ, we could ship whole foods to these niggers' doors with a free air fryer and still save money. It makes absolutely no sense to subsidize "food" with zero nutritional benefit.

He misspoke. He's talking about SNAP benefits. When I worked retail in a poor neighborhood, SNAP was ubiquitous. I only encountered a handful of people with the cash-welfare gibs.
