I live in the NS wilderness and I can't even go for a walk in my backyard since I know some neighbor would report me.
Not because they're bootlickers, but because everyone here is a spiteful fuck towards anyone who seems better off than them.

Forest fires.
Most wildfires are caused by human activity.

Nobody is allowed in the woods because of a drought. They don't want wildfires popping up since the province is completely unprepared for them despite being surrounded by water.
Doesn't help that a nasty hurricane ripped through the province back in 2022 and downed a shitton of trees. Of course, the downed trees in the woods weren't cleaned up so there's a ton of dried up treebark across the province that would make for excellent kindling.

Despite having the worst job market of any province, Nova Scotia also has the highest taxes of the provinces and the worst healthcare across the provinces.
You will unironically die in the hospital waiting room waiting to see a doctor here, and if you do make it in, there is a 50/50 chance you'll get misdiagnosed anyway.

this is my issue. instead of cleaning up the dead growth (which will probably never happen now because Trump mentioned it once, triggering the leafpolitik to no longer regard it as the truth or factual) we ban people from the woods. once again blatant suppression of the charter over any real solution. and in typical cuckleaf fashion people are defending it.

>Canada doesn't have a single, defined "wet season" across the entire country, as precipitation patterns vary significantly by region. However, some areas experience distinct wet periods, particularly in the fall and winter months. For example, Vancouver Island and the British Columbia coast have a wet season that generally runs from October to May. The Atlantic provinces also experience a wet period in the fall, with October and November often seeing the highest monthly precipitation

so if you make it to October/November it should be lifted right?

That's weird, cause my hometown has an overrepresentation of firefighters who drive around in red trucks all hours of the day and collect a very, very nice tax break that roughly equals 45% of the average workers yearly pay for going to training once a week and hanging out with the boys.
Out here in the Yukon I actually seen firefighters working for the first time In my life, it was surreal.

Also one dude on the force arsoned his motel building to get out of stolen property charges and is now a firefighter, LMFAO.

YOU MIGHT START A FIRE SO WE MADE GOING INTO THE WOODS ILLEGAL

>You might squeeze that IV drip, or say mean words to the duty nurse, so going into hospitals is now illegal.
>You might stab people with your knife, so we outlawed chefs.
>You might run people over, so we made cars illegal. We gave automatic-driving AI car companies sole remit over vehicular transport from now on, however; all those companies are partly owned or invested in by friends of the Prime Minister & his cabinet. And it's ethical for those cars to run people over in the event that they might, an ethics philosopher said so.
>You might say things that potentially somewhere, at some nebulous potential future point in the expanding nature of space-time, might offend someone; rather than just tell this person to suck it up and stop being a huge baby, we made free speech illegal.
>You might do something unsafe, so we made being unsafe illegal.
>You might breathe too hard and pass out. We passed laws and guidelines with strict fines and prison terms for people misusing their own lungs.
>You might grow up to be a terrorist, so you cannot grow up (okay, this one is actually a real policy somewhere).

What madnesses?
What madnesses have rendered unto us in our collective sleep?
When the night borne unto us in secret a cadre of bureaucratic psychopaths, who by degrees whilst we laid dreaming, paved our futures with oppression, lined our skies with darkness, and wrote madness into law? By our natures as dreamers did they rob us blind and line their own pockets? When merely to awaken from slumber is to see the dream torn down; and now by way of waking, criminals are born?
They did build a prison around our bed whilst we slept. And now we are trapped.

Can confirm, years ago during COVID I went to the hospital and there was 8+ boomers sitting in the hall crying for nurses while the nurses played candy crush and joked among eachother.
Also grandmother worked there in pediatrics and just played bejeweled and hung out with her friends doing nothing and not being able to be replaced cause union rules.
Also a large part of my family all got jobs as cooks/jannies, ect when it opened and were allowed to take the job and then study/get training. An option that does not exist for young folks nowadays.

Where I live you can literally burn the woods whenever you want. If you dont get permission to burn though it just means that if it gets loose and forestry has to come hem it in then you have to pay for their services. They also will send you to mental health to create paperwork that justifies further abuse and entrenchment in the justice system.

I personally know a dude who ran casting couches for McDonald's jobs and banged alot of 16yos over this.
Another dude at the now closed for unrelated reasons food place used to offer 10c raises to sleep with him.
Alot of women have sex transactionally or fuck dudes who drive them around places, nobody's parents are on a position to help or want too because they were raised by boomers and terrorized into thinking they cannot, under any circumstances or for any reason spend money, this leads to situations like Nova Scotians flipping out and screaming about how their going to starve cause you left the lights on, or didn't close a door, and then screaming until their blue in the face because now because (you) didn't close a door behind you and some cold air got into the house, are responsible for bankrupting them cause the heat clicked on.

The Ontario angle is now people who could afford to put their kids through school, have cars, and resources come here and swing big dicks in their faces, it creates alot of seethe and resentment when all the young girls are hoping on Ontario dick, and now you have alot of your skilled worker and good quality men choosing Ontario women over the rollercoaster and constantly psychological abuse of dealing with Nova Scotian women .
