What happened to tech optimism?
>Asking people from the 80s what they hope the future would be like: Robots, hoverboards, space travel etc.
>Asking people in 2025 what they hope the future would be like: Political sperging, cynical answer about housing being cheaper etc.

Also the amount of nostalgiafagging. Instead of wondering about what cool tech the future will have, people just wanna nostalgia jerk about have much more soulful tech was in the 90s and 2000s.

What happened?

Imaginations were captured by rap and grunge noises, the matrix, enron, climate change, 911, and capeshitting jews. Instead of a positive vision of the world of tomorrow, we were sent to the desert for feeding media war hysteria and building greater israel. we needed to stop believing in a good future, and wallow in annihilation and look for identity in fads.
