There was never a need for any referendum as ALL Canadian provinces have been sovereign since 1932. Alberta does not need a referendum, Quebec does not need a referendum. All they need is a Constitution. The Canadian constitution is legally invalid. There is no Canada.

But you have to be careful when you reference Canada
you have to specifically say The land of Canada. or some reference directly to the land.

This might be true but the reality is what the Supreme Court of Canada and more importantly the other major nations like the US say.

Look what happened to Rhodesia for example it was it's own legitimate nation but it didn't fit the New World Order forces plans so it was completely ignored, no one traded with it (save for SA) or helped it against communist forces and it eventually was defeated.

If an independence AB wants legitimacy we will have to play the game to some extent.
