6th gen fighter planes are all about flying higher, a little faster but its all focused around BVR fighting. They'll control loyal wigmen drones to either act as missile sponges and lob long range missiles at each other. Were talking like 200-500km here. 6the gen planes are also more stealthier by design by having the air intakes on the top of the plane instead of the bottom (where radar direction comes from). They fly further too which is one of the weaknesses of 5th gen planes. And while having more fuel they can fly in the air longer.
Other things are being its own EW platform instead of giving the EW to another plane like the F-18 Growler or J-15DT

I love how these fighter gens continue to advance without any of them seeing any actual large-scale use in war since the F-15. Certainly whenever a countries unproven military concepts have outpaced their actual combat experience, great things have come from it!
