Why do politicians keep covering up ancient high-tech civilizations?
Human civilization is way older than we're led to believe. Even Graham Hancock is just a limited hang-out to make us think that bronze-age civilization was only ~6,000 years older than the history books say.
The truth is, civilizations more advanced than ours existed and disappeared thousands of years before recorded history, and all but their stone-work and myths have disappeared.
>geometrically perfect granite rooms and objects
>carved out of solid granite
>including acoustic engineering
>encodes mathematics that wouldn't be known until thousands of years later, including the speed of light in a vacuum
These objects were an attempt to transmit important knowledge to future generations, but Zahi Hawass typed help cover it up so our leaders can do what with the knowledge? From what we can glean, some event happens every ten to twenty thousand or so years and wipes out humanity. Perhaps the survivors are "raptured" into "rescue craft" and the remainder return to hunter-gatherer lifestyles until they're able to rebuild again, just in time for another harvest. Conveniently, we're about due for another as shown by gobekli tepe carvings (which is why they've been re-buried until after the harvest).
