Actually I'm pretty sure that's X-Plane 12, not MSFS. That might legit be fairly tough to operate, XP in general has more realistic operational aircraft, especially airliners. No F-18 to space type crap.

You can still do pretty crazy and unrealistic things in Xp, that's what sims are for. They do shit in commercial Level D Boeing and Airbus sims that the pilots will never actually encounter IRL.

But yes, I don't think there's any data tables you can edit to make your hot air balloon go Mach 10 like you could in FSX.

I guess I should check out X-plane then, It looks better than I expected. There is an SR-71 in development for MSFS 2020 for years now, by blackbird simulations and it's coming out soon in the last 2 years.

Map Enhancement, injects photogrammetry into XP. Free, pro subscription gets you higher res but for most flying at alt it won't really matter. Actually better than MSFS since you can choose satellite maps from Google, Apple, Bing, etc, and they're always the updated stuff, not the iPhone 7 era refried crap they put out in MSFS24.

XP12 requires a lot more setup than MSFS though, lots of addons that frankly are pretty mandatory. But it doesn't take too long and I honestly think it's a lot more rewarding than MSFS.

I never bought MSFS 2024 as it is still shit. I swapped to linux too, 2020 works online with photogrammetry for some reason, little navmap works too. I'll pass on X-Plane I guess.
