If that special battalion Russia's built from AFU prisoners have their way, it won't be pretty. There's thousands of them. All pround Ukrainian patriots united in their hatred of Zelensky and seeing the destruction of his regime, working side by side with the Russians to help them do it. They all died in Mariupol. He sent them all to the front, cut their supplies, ordered them to surrender, withheld reinforcements, and then sent another army group to threaten them as brigands if they wouldn't surrender. Everyone in the original Azov is either dead or a POW in Russia right now. There is a 0% chance Zelenski will ever face consequences. He will retire to Israel or Manhattan or Miami or the UK, since he owns property and has family in all three. He will never work another day in his life, and if he dies young it will be to a drug overdose, surrounded by a crayon box of hookers.

I don’t think he is fucked at all. It’s in Russias interest to keep him alive. He’ll live a good life despite Ukraine being eternally fucked. Then Russia will use this to show Ukrainians that they were betrayed. If he does he will be a martyr. Best to keep him alive. Also Western governments want him to live comfortably to show other leaders like him in third world countries that they can retire in the west no matter what.

His biggest threat is other Ukrainians. Think of an Azov type coup. I’m not too familiar with the factions in Ukrainian politics so I can’t be that predictive.
