It's full of Jews actually. Whole area was extensively colonized by Jews. If you watch PBS cooking shows you'll notice Pati isn't a Mexican, she's a Pole or some shit. Whole region is full of 'em. A lot have beekeeping type names, honey seller, suger mountain, etc.
