Yeah, social media encourages it. It preys on the youth that are vulnerable by giving them an "accepting space" where everyones loved.
Those that actually troon out are seen as massive Ws by the pharma industry, who seek to profit millions of dollars per individual that goes through a transition. When you see a mentally ill man, the doctors see a fat paycheck.

It might be related to economics in the sense that population density is high and a lot of people are struggling to afford housing without having an absolutely dogshit quality of life. Like, having to live next to nonwhites.

There's also the whole porn+autogynophilia thing.
Then there's all the opportunistic reasons, like being accepted into a celebrated cult-like environment with grand parties, parades, etc, as well as gaining potential victim points and relieving yourself of all the bullshit from everyone ganging up on hetero white men.

But sure, part of it seems like it's socioeconomic. White men get worse treatment. Basically every demographic in western society is attacking them. We're very much at war, it's just not taking place on a physical battlefield with guns and bullets. For a lot of guys, trooning out means escaping the hardships.
