As a Midwesterner, I have to say California is better than Texas. It's still a bit of a shithole in some ways, but generally it's more comfy. The driving is much comfier as well. I was warned about dickhead drivers here, but Texas drivers are way worse. Also California spics are chill and cool, Texas spics are literal cartel members. There's more food options and a surprising amount of small businesses which I did not see as much in Texas. As for nature Cali feels like Italy with mountains and beaches, Texas is mostly desert or plains with the gulf in the corner. It's crazy, but I'd almost want to live here if I wasn't racist and it wasn't prohibitively expensive. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
