it might get more clicks calling it anti-semitism, but really the chinese went Anti-Globalism in the ideological sense over the trade sense.
a lot of the globalist forces were foreigners and many worked for NGOs in china with foreign money paying for it. lots of western academics and phd and masters students spending a few years spreading western academic ideology to the chinese. it was quite successful because it gave chinese a opportunity to differentiate themselves from each other and to join a clique which seemed more worldly.
the main danger they have now is chinese international students who have returned to china and want to live the same life they had in the white countries. but given this also largely means the women won't have kids, they are going to end up in a sort of social ghetto. Boba Aunts.
