It's a woke terminology but it's a good term. Sounds intellectual.
It ironically fits just about everything the woke movement has inflicted on the world. It basically means "distorting or erasing other people's lived reality"; overwriting their culture etc. so although they go on living, the framework they've built their lives around has been destroyed so they no longer have a sense of what their life is meant to be about.
