Land bank houses come with requirements.
It'll vary, but typically you have a year to bring up to a livable level otherwise they take it away from you and do not reimburse you for what you've invested.

That said, they'll typically work with you if it's just gonna take a little longer.
It seems too good to be true, but these cities genuinely want these houses dealt with because it costs them more to keep them.

Detroit nigger government will make it impossible for you to fix that house on your own and even if they didn't you could get a house that needs 2% of the workload to get acceptable for less than the price to fix that house. You got a remember about places as dilapidated as Detroit you'll probably have to buy tools and materials 3 or 4 times to adjust for shrink. Its a horrible deal and only an idiot would go for it. Unless you have city hall paid off it's never going to get approved and some jealous nigger inspectors will make it impossible to finish.

The housing market and alternatice living styles are not off topic. It's the current political atmosphere in the US and globally due to government policies and corporations.

Here's a couple houses which are themselves decent but in neighborhoods which have gone from 15% black to 45% black in the last two decades, but the crime rate is still low and there are decent jobs in St Louis. If I didn't care about having a family it would be a great deal.
