If Trump really wants to win the Nobel peace prize so badly...
...all he has to do is have Putin arrested the moment he steps out of his plane. Then have him shipped to Nuremberg to be tried before the international criminal court for his countless war crimes.
Not only would Trump solve the Ukraine war in one move with this, he'd also have solved the russia problem for the foreseeable future. He'd receive universal praise from all US allied nations, his approval rating would soar into the 80's, his friends would respect him and his enemies would fear him, and he'd be considered the greatest western leader until the day he dies.
And what would Russia do in retaliation? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. For two reasons.
One. There is nothing they can do. Ever wonder why Russia keeps threatening with nukes so much? It's the only thing they have left. And Putin's oligarchs aren't suicidal enough to start a nuclear war over Putin. Hell, they might even be thankful Trump solved the problem for them without them having to stage a risky coup. They hate Putin's war because it's bad for business, but can't speak out against it because anyone who does falls out of a window.
Two. Russia is a subservient slave mentality nation that LOVES being cucked and buckbroken. They would simply accept that they've been humiliated once again, because that's the entire thing their national identity revolves around.
