Owning the land and plucking my own berries. Thats the only reason why I would do it. Or let the customers pluck their own berries which is probably the best solution for the finest berries.

That doesn't need to be full time because it's a seasonal job. Literally just do what >>512699513 said and let people come pick the crops they want themselves like every strawberry farm around here does in late spring/early summer.

Or, if part of co-op with allotment as pay. But, OP a faggot. Small farms do employ citizens at decent pay. They aren't growing potatoes but higher end, higher return crops + meats. It's the huge agrobiz farms using slave labor. Buy local, pay more, farm to table.
