Final report from the front trip – deliveries and situational overview from Pokrovsk/Myrnohrad
Pokrovsk/Myrnohrad, 10 August 2025

Hannu, Mikael and I have completed our front trip with extensive material deliveries and direct observations from the front section Pokrovsk/Myrnohrad.
The trip began in Rivne, where five computers with monitors and 14 hard drives were handed over to the staff of the 14th brigade of the national guard, Vadim’s battalion.
The next stop was Brovary, where the home guard received 80 pairs of army boots, 30 axes, and 200 water bottles. Also in Brovary, Olena’s volunteer group received kevlar for making protective insoles for boots.
Then the journey continued to Kara-Dag, the drone unit at the 15th brigade of the national guard. There we were met by company chief Tabak and his soldiers, together with colleagues from the 14th brigade “Chervona Kalyna.”
The delivery included combat food, kevlar, axes, water bottles, hygiene articles, t-shirts and underwear, quick chargers for AK and AR15 – as well as an advanced Vampier drone, which was transported all the way to the drone position in Myrnohrad.
The Finland-Swedish journalist Mikael Storsjö and I accompanied all the way to the position. We stayed for 24 hours to talk with the soldiers and experience the first mission the new drone carried out.
The final delivery point was the 110th brigade’s technical repair unit, led by “Komissar.”
Here six winter tires for pickups, special tools for heavy vehicles, axes, shovels, kevlar equipment, welding magnets in several sizes and coffee were handed over.

The number of injured has also decreased.

The morale within the unit is described as high, with strong camaraderie.
Mikael Storsjö noted the absence of visible military ranks on the uniforms and compared the group to a project team based on mutual respect and cooperation.

The unit has now also received its first fiber-optic drones with ranges of 10 and 15 kilometers.
The officers emphasize that previous donations for drone purchases have been crucial in holding their positions.

We welcome President Trump’s work to stop the killing in Ukraine, end the Russian Federation’s war of aggression, and achieve just and lasting peace and security for Ukraine.

We are convinced that only an approach that combines active diplomacy, support to Ukraine and pressure on the Russian Federation to end their illegal war can succeed.

We stand ready to support this work diplomatically as well as by upholding our substantive military and financial support to Ukraine, including through the work of the Coalition of the Willing, and by upholding and imposing restrictive measures against the Russian Federation.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated Bezsalivka in Sumy region.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a successful operation to liberate and completely clear the village in Sumy region of Russian troops.

Units of the 33rd Separate Assault Regiment and the 24th Separate Assault Battalion took part in the assault. According to the military, 18 Russian invaders were eliminated during the battle.
