India does not produce better coders, doctors, engineers. It does however produce moderately good engineers BUT who are willing to work for 1/10th of the cost of a white engineer. And so, far more preferable to corporations. And thus the push for H1Bs.

No they don't. The reason this visa is loved by corporations is because it makes a human being stuck with them for 6+ years. No fear of job hopping so the investment you put into training pays off more. After those 6-10 years the Indian worker may be competent but you could put a white worker through that and they will as well. I have a friend that is working at walmart that would glady take a 6-10 year job that trains him
