Good, even with rising food prices it's still monumentally cheaper to make food for yourself at home instead of being a useless lazy slug and paying people exorbitant amounts of money to do it for you.

so why dont restaurant owners go to people houses and cook meals for families in their own homes instead? i would pay $100 if a chef from a local restaurant came to my house and cooked a gourmet meal for me with the shit i had in my kitchen. if you cant get people to come to your business, then take the business to them.

I usually buy some stuff and make something quick, I'm not a good cook, but do well enough. That said, there's some charm in ordering a nice pizza and pigging out once a week or going to a sit down place and enjoying some good quality food.

I have a relative who did this. He owned a high end restaurant but Americans have turned into goyslop eating disgusting poorfags who were unable to pronounce or afford the menu items, so he just became a private chef for a rich guy and his family. That costs real money to hire a private chef though. $100 could probably get you an illegal immigrant to cook some burgers and tacos for a night.

idk I was watching big bang theory with my wife because it was on - I know it’s a fucking sitcom, but I noticed those fuckers had takeout/sit-down restaurant meals every single night, rent was $600 for two bedrooms, they all had do-nothing jobs at universities, and a ridiculous amount of extra money to randomly go to Vegas, Comic Con, have multiple children, etc.

It was the same with Friends, even fucking Roseanne

There’s no millenial sitcom because it would be too fucking depressing. Just perma-neets at their computers 100% of the time instead of 30% of the time. All they have to eat is the frozen nashville hot chicken mega bowl they’ve already been avoiding eating for months.

I order a large quantity of cheese bread sticks from a local pizzaria.
The kike that runs the place decided to start making them with a single shred of cheese per breadstick and still call them the same thing, while simultaneously raising the price from $8 to $20

It was always like that.
Nobody wants to watch a show about poor people getting shit on, that's too much like real life.
It's only funny in the case of Cricket from always sunny because he kept going lower, lower, lower, until he falls in love and possibly bangs a dog.
Which they can't keep going forever eventually nothing will exist of Cricket.

I digress, they have to in Sitcoms have the people survive enough that things do go badly.
Same reason Bob from Bobs Burgers somehow always pays rent despite the fact he knowingly is bankrupt regularly.
It's just magic at that point, literally even.

Real life sitcoms are way worst.

Lack of competitiveness and tipping culture killed them. Employees and management have been fighting this war using customers as bludgeons. The restaurant placards posted here advising customers not intending to tip generously to go away are of course fake, but they're not too far off the actual mentality of tipped workers. And in that regard, if you're a normal looking white male, it's not safe eating restaurant food in any city anyway.

Of course they'll blame everything Trump and Trump-adjacent. But the real reason is mismanagement, greed and the fact that nobody with common sense believes that tipping more than 15% under any circumstances isn't a complete waste of money

Tipping anything at all is insanity. American tipping culture must have began in a highly prosperous time when people has money to fucking throw around, but regardless it is an archaic practice that has no place in modern society. I have stopped tipping entirely unless I reasonably believe it will mitigate tampering with my food. It always feels extremely stressful, but I am utilizing my conviction to push onward.
