also it was all on sale, this is the third week I've had ribs.

Pork chops and mashed taters, with veggies side (I have tons of frozen veggies)
"Italian" sausage for pasta, I did forget to get zucchini though so I put the sausage in the freezer.

also there are chicken breasts, I made chicken tacos last night with home made tortillas.

I didn't show it in the pic, but I had poblano peppers and onions in my fridge that I added to the chicken. Slow cooker shredded chicken burritos.

Anon pick a simple meal or two per week starting out and follow the instructions from these guys. They are basically never wrong and they keep it simple and accessible. Try and get as little pre packaged junk as you can. I highly recommend Brian Lagerstrom for learning simple basic baking. Home made bread is cheap to make and so much better than the stuff you get in a bag. Chicken thighs and quarters are affordable and super versatile. A bag of potatoes can make a billion different things and is cheap. Learning to make sweets if you can't go without them can save you a lot of money and is always a nice skill to have. I got bored and made sour cream cake doughnuts a week ago and I still have frosting and fresh lemon curd that I need to make a cake to use it up on. I just try not to have too many sweets per week. It doesn't always come out as pretty as the store bought stuff, but it almost always tastes better and costs less per serving. Except for the subhuman grade trash tier junk food product that they eat, but it doesn't look like you eat that stuff. Also dressings and sauces are easy once you get in the habit of making them. There's way too many tutorials out there for free to not learn how to cook for your self at least a little.

Dice up bacon and cook till brown
Add in diced onions and garlic
Add seasoning to taste
(I usually add lard for more oil)
Reduce heat
Slowly stir in finely blended green peas (sifted)
Put in glass pan to cool in refrigerator

When it solidifies you just throw a chunk into a pot or thermos with boiling water and you have very high calorie soup.
I like to make bread to dip in it.

if you buy 1kg of pizza flour you can eat pizza for 3 days straight from that one bowl of dough.

this tastes so good it doent need topping at all
the flour + yeast is like 1.80€
concentrated tomato is like 90 cent
(lets say 20 cent for sauce seasoning)
cheese is 2.50€ for a block

== you can eat for under 2 euro per DAY if you know how to cook. pizza is dirt cheap.

use maximum oven temperature and place the pizza as low as possible.

and im a 1.90m tallfag. you probably wont be able to eat as much as me.

I like making Lohikeitto in winter, started making it using a Finnish recipe 2 years ago and my wife and her family loves it.
It's one of the best fish soups, if not the best in the world.

There's a Romanian on /ck/ who makes his own but they are much thicker than the store bought and the texture comes out different and doughy witch defeats the whole purpose.
