4chan service announcement! Steganography is the process of hiding images within images.

Law enforcement, like the FBI, can hide CSAM and illegal material in images, then upload images to boards where targeted individuals and persecuted political groups (White Nationalists, National Socialists, Fascists, racialists, etc) gather.

Then they can fabricate the pretext for an arrest and seize your phone computer. They can then use tools to "decode" such images and if found, you will be charged with possession of illegal material - even if no other crime was committed.

A few months ago we saw that this board is run by FBI and mossad. They put these codes into pepe images and other targeted iconography users are known to download.

Be careful of what you download. There is no defense for this sneaky, jew law enforcement tactic.

Yea but you'd have to study image file formats and gain an understanding of when an image has excessive extraneous data encoded into it. There are tools for this but I wouldn't trust those tools alone. You need to actually open the files and look at the raw data.

This will 100% remove any hidden images, at the loss of quality.
There is no other way to be 100% sure.

Yeah I’m going to say this plainly, this site isn’t the only potential threat for this, so I’m not remotely worried. It’s one thing in court to be tech illiterate, but selling a judge the implication of a smart phone having an image embedded with an image with all the xif data removed from it and seemingly the device is the genesis from it? No. Especially if experts from apple weigh in on how the image got on the device, they’re going to look at the photo and immediate know it’s in the temp folder, and that this in of itself implies that the user may not have even been aware, casting a lot of doubt. Unless there is a copy somewhere in a notable location, it’s going to be incredibly difficult to prove intent.
